Invitation Highlights: Who’s in Demand?
- Health professionals are still in high demand. This month also, 95 invitations were issued in these occupations; out of which 88 were for Subclass 190 and 7 for Subclass 491. This makes the total of 269 for 2025-26, showing a real shortage of doctors, nurses, and other healthcare specialists.
- Design, Engineering, Science and Transport professionals received 68 invitations in this round (62 under Subclass 190 and 6 under Subclass 491), highlighting ongoing demand for technical and project-based skills.
- All 38 invitations for ICT professionals were issued under Subclass 491, showing South Australia’s strong focus on regional ICT roles.
- Construction Trades Workers also got 35 invitations this month to support regional housing and infrastructure growth.
